The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.
As principal of the Yokosuka Primary School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone to the opening of our new school. We are all excited to have students in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of the Yokosuka Primary School family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow academically to be college and career ready. Our team of educators are committed to ensuring Yokosuka Primary provides standards of high-quality instruction in every classroom with deep care.
Yokosuka Primary’s school culture will focus on supporting the development of our students. Our administration and staff will carry on the commitment to ensure all students have the best education, as they build the foundational skills needed on their academic path. Additionally, it is important to develop strong character traits, so our students will be well-rounded citizens. Entering into this new position, I understand the importance of communication and partnerships. There are bound to be questions with the creation of our new school. Please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions, or to share your ideas, to ensure our sea turtles thrive.
